Concept

In visiting and working with existing home healthcare (HHC) retailers, we have found a wide variety of lay-outs from small planograms to superstore showrooms. The majority of these operations have developed HME businesses as the direct outgrowth of their CEO's respective backgrounds, such as chain drug stores, grocery, health foods, department stores, sporting goods and big box clubs. The result is that a crucial component of HME or retailing is often missing.

We have been integrating selling HME products and services with niche marketing, demographic merchandising and retail sales training. Our belief is that HHC retailers can be successful if they:

  1. Build upon the needs of their customer base to nurture loyal, repeat customers;
  2. Merchandise their showrooms to meet these needs through education and cross-selling related categories and products; and
  3. Train their staff to qualify customers and demonstrate how HME products not only meet their needs but improve their quality of life.
